What started as a boutique run out of a basement and transitioned into a mobile boutique that opened a storefront in the heart of Englewood.
Palette of Threads Boutique is a women’s boutique that opened its first brick-and-mortar location back in 2017.
Owner Jess Cecrle opened Palette of Threads Boutique after she gave birth to her first daughter and was looking for clothes for her new “mom bod.”
“It was very frustrating and discouraging,” she says. “That’s when I came home and Googles how to start an online boutique.”
From there, some would say, the rest is history.
Palette of Threads Boutique carries sizes small through 3XL, and include looks for everyday wear like oversized sweaters, leggings, denim, and more.
Some of the most popular styles in the store include Judy Blues, the best-selling women’s women they offer. Judy Blues caters to all shapes and sizes, and customers often remark how comfortable they are to wear.
When choosing inventory for the store, Cecrle says that she looks for items and styles that are different. “We like to offer patterns you don’t see too often,” she says. “We don’t follow trends like other shops tend to do – we do what works for us.”
Palette of Threads Boutique recently settled into its new 5,000-square-foot warehouse, so she’ll be looking to increase her online presence.
